I hereby apply as a vendor for The Bedford Farmer Managed Market. Market operations will be conducted on (Please check the line next to the Markets you plan to attend): ___Fridays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Option available to stay later on Second Fridays of each month to participate in Downtown Second Friday Festivities), ___First Saturdays of each month from 8:00am to 1:00pm & ___Tuesdays from 3:00pm to 6:00pm ___The Regular Season will run from May 3, 2019 through October 29, 2019 & ___The Fall Market Season (With a condensed schedule to be determined) from November 1, 2019 through December 21, 2019.

RULES OF THE MARKET

1. We are a Farmers’ Market; therefore, Farm products are primary sales. Any Farm products bought for resale Must be Clearly marked as such and may not be sold when available by producers at The Market. Bedford Grown Farm Products will be priority sales. Some floral, arts, handmade crafts or bakery type items may be allowed.
2. All vendors are responsible for their own liability insurance and compliance with any and all requirements of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the USDA..
3. No Farm products may be sold that originate from foreign countries at any time. No out of State Farm products may be sold when available in State.
4. All products will be displayed in a clean and safe manner.
5. Vendors are responsible for leaving a clean area at closing.
6. All vendors shall exhibit professional manners always.
7. Each vendor is solely responsible for their assigned space, as well as keeping it neat and free of obstacles, during the entirety of all Market events.
8. Spaces shall be assigned by the Market Manager.
9. Applicable Fees shall be paid each market day unless otherwise agreed upon, when applicable.
10. Collected Fees and Sponsorship funds go towards advertising, equipment, maintenance, and other items as decided upon by the Farmers’ Market Committee.
